Clean. Friendly staff. Cheap kid good. Even comfy lounge chairs in front of TV for adults!

This is a decent place to take the kids to blow off some steam, especially when the weather is not great outside. There are smaller play areas for toddlers, a jungle-gym type area with tunnels, ladders and slides as well as an assortment of inflatable slides and bounce-houses. There is a lounge-type area with televisions for the adults. The prices aren't terribly high and, yes, they do charge adults a nominal fee even though they cannot play on the equipment. These fees are supposed to go towards the cleaning and upkeep of the play area and the staff does a fairly good job of keeping things and sanitized. You cannot bring your own food. They do provide some mid to low quality food items (pizza, chicken tenders, hot dogs, juice and colored sugar-water. I would advise folks to either eat before or after going. You can also rent out one of the private rooms for birthday parties and the staff does a decent job of keeping the kids occupied and monitored. We've taken the kids here several times and we did have a birthday party here as well. I've noted the staff to be generally friendly and, as noted, it provides something for the kids to do for a few hours other than drive you to drink when playing outside isn't a viable option.

Not a bad place to take your kids, but certainly won't take them very often. The price is a little much for what they offer. It is $10 per child, and they charge $1.50 for each adult. Not quite sure why they charge adults when all they can do is sit and watch their children play? The kids had a lot of fun, but for $10 it certainly was lacking. My biggest advice: EAT BEFORE YOU COME!!!! The food there is terrible and very over priced. We got a large order of french fries that came to us after waiting 20 minutes for them and they were soggy and soaked in grease. There were literally 10 french fries only..............that was a large?!?!?!? The other food was just as bad. So go ahead and give this place a try - your kids will have fun. Just be prepared for some disappointment.

I really wanted to give this a 3.5, not quite a 4 stars, but 3 stars would be low-balling them. Pros: Cool slides that my kids loved. My two year old went down a steep, fast, and safe slide that he enjoyed so much that I got belly-laughs out of him. Safe environment and fun, fun, fun. The pictures don't do justice. My 5 year old Daughter exclaimed, "This is the place to be!!" Which I thought was pretty hilarious wording, but clearly the kid loved it there. The people obviously know kids for sure. My little baby also enjoyed the toddler area. I was thankful for a toddler area, as my 1 year old could still get in on a little bit of the fun. Cons: Terrible location and uninviting warehouse look on the outside. The price was a bit dumb. I was charged 1.50 even though I wore a bracelet that clearly said that I was not allowed to jump, being an adult. Why then, would I be charged? They also charged my 15 month old Daughter who was not even big enough to run yet a whopping 5 dollars. She was still very, very wobbly. $6.50 out the window right there. I also thought 10 dollars was a bit high for a 5 year old. The 5 dollars was decent for my 2 year old. After buying food (reasonably priced), I still felt a little ripped off. 21.50 for my Daughter and 2 babies for the hour that we spent there. Oh well, life goes on. The price did cover for the day, in Jester's defense.

When Poppa Steve was a mere tyke in Detroit, his saintly mom would kick him outside during summer vacation, toss him a couple sharp sticks and hardtack, and tell him not to come back until the leaves start to turn grey (it was Detroit, after all). You cannot do that anymore. That is why Jester's Court Party and Play Center (3707 Northridge Dr. NW) in Grand Rapids exists. At 22,000 square feet, Jester's Court is West Michigan's largest indoor child entertainment center. Owners Monica and Aaron Wright started the business because they wanted to create a fun and safe place for their own young children. You will find eight to 10 mammoth inflatable slides, obstacle courses, jumps and a 1,500-square-foot Softplay jungle gym. They also have designed an interactive video game system that teens love. The Toddler Court has toddler-sized inflatables and a safe play area for children three years and younger. All the inflatables are made with the highest-quality materials and the Wrights are persnickety about cleanliness, so you can feel good about letting your bashful brood get its bounce on.
